Living the dream

Last night, I played in Iowa City with a band named Bambu. I played percussion (i.e. timbales, congas, bongos, cabasa, tambourine, shakers and Tibetan jewelry). It was fun.

I am taking a two-week class about this.


AND, this guy, Peck Euwer--shown here post-Maverick's shark attack on February 29th, 2000--just premiered a movie in Santa Barbara on Monday, entitled "The Craving", which had the surfing debut of my cousin Heather as well as the music of Rude Jackson.
I haven't seen it yet, but I can't wait. In the film, all of Heather's surfing is backed by RJ's "Softcore (Beach Song)".
